Born in Portland, Oregon, Sue Lynn Wood lives in Valdez, Alaska, with her husband and their cherished pet Ruffy. Attracted by their love of Alaska, the couple moved to Valdez in 1999. “Sue Lynn Wood” is a pseudonym that honors three generations of women from her maternal lineage, and she currently works full-time as a proud member of IBEW 1547 at the local electric utility and plans to retire next year. Inspired by the changes in her life, Sue decided to share her poetry to honor her true self. This collection celebrates her journey of self-discovery and artistic expression.
