Christian Brothers High School was established by Edmund Rice in the year 1891. The secondary section is where the boys are prepared for the life ahead. There is great deal of stress on the academics where in the secondary education; boys are free of gender biases that exist in co-educational schools. Boys concentrate on doing the best in whatever activities that they take up. They are given regular home work and the boys are either prepared for a career in academic subjects or the vocational education.
