The lymph (a clear liquid consisting of lymphocytes) flow through the lymphatic vessels and lymph nodes under the influence of skeletal muscle contractions and respiratory movements and finally enters the superior vena cava. The lymphatic system imparts immunity, helps in draining the interstitial fluid, and transports dietary lipids. The lymphatic system mainly consists of 2 types of lymphocytes – T-cells and B-cells. ?
