Triamidine belongs to the aromatic diamidine class and is traditionally used as a broad-spectrum anti-blood protozoan drug.Anti-insect effects are associated with interference with aerobic glycolysis and DNA synthesis in worms, both of which cause host hypoglycemia.The aerobic glycolysis performed by piriformis and trypanosomes depends on the host glucose.It is said that the antitrypanosomiasis effect of these drugs depends on its inhibition of trypanosomiasis glycolysis and the effect of nuclear protein denaturation.For example, acetamidine also selectively blocks the synthesis or replication of The Kinetoplast DNA, meaning that it rapidly and irreversely binds to trypanosomal DNA-containing cells, typically binding to 4-5 DNA nucleotides per molecule.Due to the inhibition of matrix DNA synthesis by triamidine - DNA complex, trypanosoma can not reproduce and the effect of branch-resistance occurs.Suitable for horses, cows, pigs, dogs, cats and other animals.
