Titanium ASTM B265 grade9 sheet contains 3% aluminum and 2.5% vanadium in the composition. The plate is also therefore known as Ti3Al2.5V Plate. Stancor Alloys is a leading supplier and manufacturer of the Titanium Gr9 Coil and other forms of the grade 9 plates. The material is difficult to weld compared to the pure grades. The Ti-3al-2.5v Alloy Strip is non – magnetic and is used in athletic equipment manufacturing. The Ti-3al-2.5v Grade.9 Shim is graded as UNSR56320 and the material comes in different sizes and standards. It is standardized under ASTM, ASME and API standards.
