Foods to Include:
1. Complex Carbohydrates:
Rice: Preferably white rice or parboiled rice.
Oats: Cooked in water or milk.
Dalia (broken wheat): Cooked into a porridge-like consistency.
Khichdi: Made with rice and moong dal (yellow lentils), mildly seasoned.
2. Lean Proteins:
Moong dal: Easily digestible and rich in protein.
Paneer: Soft paneer (cottage cheese) in moderation.
Chicken: Skinless and cooked only (avoid spicy preparations).
Fish: Freshwater fish like river fish, steamed or lightly cooked.
3. Vegetables:
Bottle gourd: Cooked into a soft consistency.
Pumpkin: Boiled or steamed.
Carrots: Cooked until soft.
Beetroot: Boiled or grated, in small quantities.
Tomatoes: Cooked and strained to remove skins and seeds.
Spinach (palak): Blanched and pureed.
4. Fruits:
Ripe Bananas: Easily digestible and nutritious.
Papaya: Helps in digestion and is gentle on the stomach.
Apple: Peeled and eaten raw or cooked.
5. Dairy:
Milk: Skimmed or toned milk, boiled and consumed plain or with cereals.
Curd: Fresh and homemade, not too sour.
6. Fluids:
Water: Plain water, is consumed throughout the day to stay hydrated.
Herbal Teas: Chamomile or peppermint tea (without added sugars or caffeine).
Coconut Water: Natural electrolytes and hydrating.
Clear Vegetable Broths: Light soups made from boiled vegetables.
